Daniel Lauds Tribune Newspapers for Sustaining Awo’s Vision

Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba (Engr.) Gbenga Daniel has extolled the African Newspapers of Nigeria, publishers of the Nigerian Tribune for upholding the truth and maintaining ethical and professional standard which were among the foundation on which the newspaper was laid by the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo in 1949. Otunba Daniel made this commendation at the occasion of Book Presentation and Platinum Recognition in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Nigerian Tribune held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan on Thursday. The former Governor was honoured alongside other distinguished Nigerians including Pa Reuben Fasoranti, General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), former Secretary to Oyo State Government; Chief Michael Keleosho, Group Managing Director of Odu’a Investment Company Limited; Mr. Adewale Raji as well as six notable financial institutions in the country.
