ARTIST PAINTS ATIKU SPOKESPERSON FOR HIS DEXTERITY SAYS HE IS A SPECIAL GIFT TO AFRICA


The Easter Monday was celebrated in a grand style at Hon Segun Showunmi's (twitter@SpokesManAtiku)


 home in Abeokuta as an Artist surprised him with a gift of his painting.

The Artist Michael Bello (twitter@davisualz88) who is a graduate of Visual Art from Obafemi Awolowo said he was moved to paint the Egba born spokesmaster because of his ebulience, dexterity and principles.

While presenting the portrait to the Atiku Spokesperson at his home in Abeokuta during his Easter Party, the Artist commended Hon Segun Showunmi for his expertise in ensuring that the present government in power deliver dividends of democracy to the populace.

Michael while recounting why he painted the great orator said that Segun Showunmi is a gift to Africa and people like him should be applauded to protecting the overall interest of the people.

Hon Segun while reacting this huge gesture with surprised thanked the Artist for recognising his wonderdul contribution to national development, which to him is his area of calling.

Also speaking at the presentation, Mrs Showunmi    was overwhelmed by the attaractiveness of her husband's painting and pray that God will continue to be with the Artist.

In the final analysis, Showunmi promised to continue in nation building and therefore called on the government to live up to expectations.

"We miss Daniel" Ogun People Lament

The good people of Ogun state yesterday eulogised the former Governor of Ogun state, H.E Otunba Gbenga Daniel for his contributions to human development, education amd health sectors. This revelation was made known during the opinion survey in the state. Ogun is losing it. Period!!! Lagos, Oyo and Ogun States are the only ones of the 6 states of the southwest completing the first term in a few days.  Lagos is commissioning projects to round off!
