Don't Mind Them There Are Legs Inside of Me.

*Don't Mind Them There Are Legs In the Inside of You*
Dedicated to those with one impairment or the other
Worldfamous Ajibola Olufidipo

People may call me names
People may give my portion to someone else
All because they felt I am unable
They may deliberately write me off all in the name of pity
To make me feel as if disability is a crime
If only they are knowledgeable enough
The understanding of the word 'Disability' could have done magic to them
They said that guy is good but he is on a wheel chair
Some said he is a genius but he cannot see
Aren't you contradicting yourself
That he is a Genius shows he sees far better than you do
They say that guy is a Guru but he is on crutches
Tell me when being on wheel chair start impairing ones thinking
Don't mind them there are legs in the inside of me.

Some are likely to call me Disable
Forgetting that Disability simply mean "This Ability"
They are so clueless to think I am struggling
While I am enjoying every bits of God's given skills
It doesn't matter the name people call me
The best in me still remain untapped
Just like a new palmwine from the palm tree
With various tastes depending on the weather
You need to understand the lyrics
That am taking my time to put all potentials into use
You do not see what I've got
You are only focusing on what I've got not
Do you think there are no hands in the inside
There is only one thing you are missing my friend
So simple I don't know why why you are so forgetful my friend
That to get things done in the physical
It must have taken place in the mind
Dont mind the unthinkable Thessalonians
There are legs and hands in the inside of you

Maybe they thought I am in total darkness
Not knowing that I have the mental picture of events
Even though I am treated like nought
It cannot erase my ability that superceed their inability
Being on a wheel chair is not the end
Time and chance are coming with huge favour
No matter how much people look down on me
They are still coming back to rely on me someday
No matter the unfair treatments that I get
The best of me will still rise in me
Though you take me for a legless being
Or you even think being blind, deaf or dump
Is an act of God's wrath
Sooner than later it will clear off
That those you treat will low regard will be highly regarded
Mephibosheth will soon enter into the Palace to dine with Kings
I say to you Mephibosheth
Don't mind them there are legs, hands and eyes in the inside of you
