You may lampoon Obasanjo for his comment
You may even call him names, if you wish
It does not change the reality on ground
That Nigeria is at the very o collapse
And there is no one to uphold her ruins
Is the truth we must all embrace.

The Nigeria of our Ancestors
And the great home of peace and love
Where we grow our crops without fear
And drink palm wine with relaxed mind
Is no longer within our reach
My Country Nigeria is no more.

We can hardly tolerate one another
Hosting unknown people is now barbaric
We find it hard to trust one another
For the fear of the hunter being the hunted
We no longer sing Nigeria we hail thee
My Country Nigeria Is No More

Others are watching without talking
Obasanjo reacted you said he goofed
Maybe you don't know you are in danger
Not only you even your household
The land of peace is now a war zone
My Country Nigeria Is No More

We no longer see ourselves as One
We are eager to war-war tham jaw-jaw
The land of green grass has turned red
Soaked with blood and endless massacres
Who will sing the song of war is over?
So that the country of our dream will resurface

Who will end the spilling of blood?
Who will quench the thirst of this mannerless group?
Who will tell them to shealth their sword?
Who will bring back the joy of one nation
Who will ressuscitate the Nigeria of our dream
So that we can all see a Shinning Nation of Hope

The good people of Ogun state yesterday eulogised the former Governor of Ogun state, H.E Otunba Gbenga Daniel for his contributions to human development, education amd health sectors. This revelation was made known during the opinion survey in the state. The first respondent, Alani Kusimo said Ogun people will forever miss Otunba Gbenga Daniel for his meaningful development in the state, while he was the Governor, without any prejudice OGD’s tenure is second to none. Ogun is losing it. Period!!! Lagos, Oyo and Ogun States are the only ones of the 6 states of the southwest completing the first term in a few days.  Lagos is commissioning projects to round off!
