OGD's MULTI BILLION NAIRA PROPERTY IN AMOSUN'S CARE SUFFERS VANDALIZATION FOR THR SECOND TIME
A multi billion naira property belonging to the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel was discover to be badly destroyed yesterday in Abeokuta.
The hotel which has been under the close watch of the present administration for some time now was recently burgled leaving equipment worth billions of naira worthless, making it the second occurence in less than two years.
Photographs showing the extent of the damage done at the site flooded the social media at the late hour of yesterday.
There have been reactions from different quarters calling on the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun to fish out the culprit as this further reveal the level of insecurity under his watch.
Speaking with our correspondent, a Community Leader who pleaded for anonymity said this is the reason why some people will not invetst in the country, leaving our youths roaming the streets.
Mr Jaiyesimi, a philantropist expressed his bitterness over this ugly incident and appealed to the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun to bring the perpetrators to book.
He further said that if this is the only parting gift the Goveror can leave behind, it will be to the admiration of all.
Mr Olabode, an Esate Valuer expressed shock at the extent of the damages, and called on the law enforcement agency to wade in and safe Governor Amosun from this last minute disgrace.
In a twit released by one of the aides to the former Governor, the twit reads "This is second time that this ugly incident is happening, under the watch of Gov.Amosun, this is sad".
All efforts made to get the Ogun state Commissioner for Information proved abortive.
